This summer I am having a Robert Piguet perfume crush.
Robert Piguet was a Swiss born, Paris based fashion designer who is remembered for his teaching of Christian Dior and Hubert de Givenchy. The fashion house ran until 1951, since then the brand has been exclusively devoted to fragrance.
The three scents, Chai, Fracas and Gardenia are my new loves.
Chai, a glorious scent and reminiscent of white tea, is fresh and perfect for summer days. Chai is the fragrance I’m wearing every day and the one that brings the compliments and boosts my confidence. Perfume, when you find the right one, is the finishing touch and makes everything feel so much better.
Fracas, the most defining and sublime of the tuberose perfumes is the signature scent of one of my loveliest friends. If Fracas weren’t so much her signature I would be wearing this floral nectar every evening. Whenever I scent this beautiful fragrance I am transported to so many happy times.
Gardénia,
What to say about the heavenly Gardénia? This scent is my evening fragrance of choice. I have worn Annick Goutal, Gardenia Passion forever but this summer the evenings are for Gardénia. Different, yes, but divine in every way.
Perfume, like all signatures, is so personal. I am completely besotted with these Robert Piguet fragrances and had to tell you.
What’s your latest perfume love? Are you changing scents for summer? xv
