I like her nearly-but-not-all-together Bohemian style. If I’m going to wear a pattern – and summer seems to be the time – then I love hers. When we talked about Style Characters last week, Ulla Johnson’s designs are some to let me cross my boundaries and have a little fun.
Her blouses have a romantic and feminine quality to them; her dresses the same. I can wear either anywhere and feel both casual and formal. For those who find the idea of a slip dress to unforgiving, then this is your gal.
For our weekend wardrobe, this dress is a total winner.
The colour, the shape, the sleeves and the pattern – everything about this one speaks weekend to me.
My mind seems to be set on dresses – I have been on holiday and that’s all I wore – so it is probably why. Once the weather turns I’ll be hanging out for some tailoring; I always have this reversal of wardrobe.
