They were spotted.
Grazia magazine is on it.
Getting dressed every day is a big spend.
Let's face it nothing comes cheap anymore and even the best bargains are not what they once were.
Whether we are going to the gym, an office or an informal lunch, it all costs.
My wardrobe philosophy is one that I like to think spends and saves.
What to wear on New Year's Eve?
What a wonderful, wonderful year we have spent together.
Do you suffer from FOMO?
This "fear of missing out"?
Can you resist velvet?
There is one piece in my wardrobe I can't live without.
Can you guess?
Mine is the .
The long one, the shorter one, the one with buttons, the one without; the blazer is my go-to for just about every occasion and event.
Especially when I am travelling.
The blazer solves those decisions I don't wish to spend making and whether I wear one over jeans, pants or a fuller skirt, I am happy.
Do you know that feeling when you put on a piece and it feels "Goldilocks" right?
I can't live without mascara.
Who wants to admit to the dreaded cellulite?
I don't.
But I will in the spirit of, "the whole truth and nothing but the truth".
I don't believe their are any miracle potions out there that completely rid us of the dreaded stuff but I do believe a healthy lifestyle makes all the difference.
Lily has 10 super duper foods to help fight and rid us of those ripples. I am scoring about 6/10; I am strong on some but weak or non existent on others. Not my best average.
Over to her,
There is a trick with concealer and I have figured it out.
It can be used 3 ways and can make quite the difference.
I forgot my favourite bb cream and foundation on a trip recently and didn't have time or the inclination to re-buy my favourites.
Somewhere in my distant memory a vague spark flickered and I remembered, if used properly, a good concealer can double or triple not only as a great cover up but also for a base and contouring.
Concealer is one of those products I use mostly under tired eyes and not for much else.
Staying home?
When I saw this clever line, I immediately thought they were onto something.
"I think one does feel more liberated and independent when one gets older.
More honest and open with yourself and others. But you still have insecurities—they're different, but they don't totally go away. But you reach a point and say 'That’s OK.' In the end, nobody’s perfect, and we’re all doing the best we can." - Linda Rodin, Into The Gloss
"Fashion and interior design are one and the same thing." Iris Apfel
The hero piece; can you guess?
